Jonathan Sherman

Jon Sherman, Founder and Creative Director of Flavor Paper of Brooklyn, NY, has a unique, off-the-wall vision. His singular design sensibilities and astute awareness of the creative industry has, for the past 20 years, set the gold standard for compelling conversational wallpaper as well as solidified the company’s position as the premier destination in the category. With an undergraduate degree from Colorado College and an entrepreneurial MBA from Tulane University, Jon began his business journey toward building a distinct brand both for himself and for Flavor Paper in New Orleans.

Reaching major milestones for any independent brand, Flavor Paper is in the permanent collections of the Cooper-Hewitt, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and Brooklyn Museum and was granted an exclusive worldwide agreement with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Jon previously served as Vice President of Cypress Group from 2001 to 2005. Jon’s philanthropy focuses in New York and New Orleans with an emphasis on the arts. He served has served on the Brooklyn Museum Advisory Board since 2015 and the Big Picture Magazine Board of Directors since 2019.
